The way Alphega Pharmacy is organised in hubs, with an ambassador pharmacist in each hub who like me has a pharmacy to manage, enables me to meet and exchange thoughts and ideas with other pharmacy managers whose pharmacies all face different situations and therefore different issues. The hub enables them to be really proactive in all aspects of the life of the network and that's down to the way the ambassador pharmacist, the Alphega Pharmacy Business Manager and the Alliance Healthcare wholesale group work together.

One of the services offered by Alphega Pharmacy is their training programmes, and the focus that these are given are a real demonstration of Alphega Pharmacy's strategy: Strong Ethics – Prevention – Advice, and that holds true both for the pharmacy manager and for the pharmacy team.

Finally, Alphega Pharmacy gives me access to a buying platform that works efficiently, and to a purchasing catalogue for pharmaceutical laboratories. Purchasing is now at the bottom of this list, which wasn't the case when I first joined. In fact now that this side of things is running smoothly, we can dedicate our focus to all the other elements mentioned above.»
